Majlis Emirate (Executive committee)
The Director of Darul Uloom carries out all the affairs of Darul Uloom with the cooperation and advice of this committee. This committee consists of five members who are elected from among the members of the Majlis-e-shura (Executive Council).
Maulana Dr. Hussain Muhammad Sahab Nadwi
He was born in Shajapur, a district in Madhya Pradesh, in the year 1953 AD. He received his early education there and then in April, 1961 AD he joined the Hifz Department (Department of Memorization) at Darul Uloom Tajul Masajid, where he memorized the Quran and studied Arabic. He went to Nadwatul Ulama Lucknow in 1970 AD to further education for his Aalim and Fazil degrees. He then headed towards Aligarh Muslim University to study B.U.M.S and graduated from there by 1980 AD.
He came back to Bhopal in 1981 AD and joined the Unani Medicine Department of the Health Ministry, Madhya Pradesh. He was appointed as a Medical Officer over there and with his sheer hard work and genius, got promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Unani Medicine in 2011 AD. He served at this distinguished position for 31 long years and retired in 2013 AD.
He was nominated as a member of the Executive Council of Darul Uloom Tajul Masajid in 1996 AD. He was also elected a member of executive committee in 2017 AD. For a long time, he also led the Taraweeh prayers in Darul Uloom Tajul Masajid during Ramadan.
Janab Zia-ud-Din Alvi Sahab
Janab Zia-ud-Din Alvi Sahab completed his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Science in 1966 AD and did L.L.M. in Constitutions & Administration Law in 1970 AD. He served as a General Manager in B.H.E.L. Bhopal from 1967 AD till 1999 AD. Since October 1999 AD, he has worked in the High Court and the Supreme Court as Tax & Civil Law Advocate and Legal Adviser. He has also served in academics from 2000 AD- 2006 AD in various subjects. He was a member of the Auqaf-e-Shahi from 2014 AD till 2018 AD and was nominated as a member of the Executive Council of Darul Uloom Tajul Masajid Bhopal in 2011 AD.
Janab Syed Arif Hasan Sahab
Syed Arif Hasan was born in the family of Unani Medicine pioneers of Bhopal, on November 5, 1945 AD. After completing his higher education in Commerce, he served as a manager at United Commercial Bank. He then served as the Staff Officer at International Trade & Commerce, Jeddah. When his father, a famous writer and Hakeem, Syed Qamarul Hasan passed away, Syed Arif Hasan Sahab left his career and returned to Bhopal to serve as the Executive Director of Urdu daily ‘Nadeem Urdu’. He has excelled at this job for the past 40 years. He is also a member of the MP Government’s Undertaking Institute for Promotion of Urdu Language, New Delhi (NCPUL); and, Member of the Screening Committee of the Public Relations and Publicity Department, Madhya Pradesh. He has also been the Vice Chairman of Darul Shafqat Orphanage Society Bhopal, a member of Indian Newspaper Society New Delhi (I.N.A.) and a member of Bal Bhawan School Bhopal. He has travelled as a journalist to many cities in the UK and the Middle East.
He was elected a member of executive council of Darul Uloom Tajul Masajid in 2016 AD. Later in 2017 AD he was elected as a member of executive committee.
Dr. Arif Junaid Nadwi
He was born in Bhopal in the year 1962 AD and completed his early education at Darul Uloom Tajul Masajid Bhopal. He completed his Aalim degree in 1978 AD and Fazilat degree in 1980 AD from Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama. He completed his M.A. from Barkatullah University in 1985 AD and earned a Ph.D. degree in 1993 AD. He did MA in other subjects from different universities in 2001 AD and then did M.Ed. in 2008 AD. He connected as a Government service as a Teacher in 1986 AD, served as a Head Master from 1997 AD-2004 AD and was appointed as Urdu Lecturer at D.I.E.T Bhopal in 2004 AD. He plays an important role in compiling and analysing Urdu textbooks and other educational and training programs for teachers. He is also the Secretary of the Council for Religious Education and the General Secretary of the Islamic Literature Council of Madhya Pradesh. He has also attended and directed several international seminars and is a member of S.C.E.R.T. and N.C.E.R.T. and is also the Urdu Coordinator of the State.
