Alimiat (Islamic Studies College)

This is the most important department of Darul Uloom which is established in accordance with the higher education department of Nadwatul Ulama. The duration of education consists of four years. Admission in this department is given to those students who have graduated from Secondary School or their equivalent education from an authoritative institution.

The subjects taught in this section are as follows:

Monotheism in Islam, (Tafseer) commentary of the Quran and its basic rules, Hadith and Principals of Hadith, (Fiqh) Jurisprudence and Principals of Jurisprudence, rules to divide inherit, Arabic Prose & Poetry, Grammar and Rhetoric, Interpretation, History of Arabic Literature and Criticism, Urdu Literature, English Literature, Philosophy, History and biography, Geography, Sociology, Cultures and Civilizations, Economics.

After the success in the fourth year of the course, the student is awarded the degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Darul Uloom. This final year exam is held in Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama itself with great care.
